Actually, this will finally be the last of the retrospective ones, as #10 seems to have disappeared (there's a folder for it, but the file itself has mysteriously disappeared...).
Anyway, once again there doesn't seem to be a particular theme (I seem to remember 'theme-ing' them more than I actually did).
Whatever happened to Glasvegas then? :-)

Eventually I will catch up and make some new ones...
Steve's Half Hour #8
Again, I'm not quite sure why I put these 8 tunes together, but again they work pretty well as a half hour.
Actually I wonder whether I may have been a little drunk when I made this. I can't think of many rational reasons why I would have extended the intro to the Twilight Sad and put some portentous American actor reading from the Book of Revelations over the top...
If you have any qualifications or experience in the field of psychoanalysis, please feel free to analyse what this may tell us about me.
1 The Twilight Sad - And She Would Darken The Memory
2 British Sea Power - No Lucifer
3 Late Of The Pier - Bathroom Gurgle
4 Vampire Weekend - Oxford Comma
5 Tall Pony - I'm Your Boyfriend Now
6 Half Man Half Biscuit - For What is Chatteris...
7 The Black Heart Procession - Heart Like Nine
8 Los Campesinos! - Drop It Doe Eyes
Having listened to it again (over two years later! ffs...) this strikes me as a particularly good 'un, even if I do say so myself. Oxford Comma dates it a bit, but the Twilight Sad one is a genius tune (which needs to be turned up really loud) and the Tall Pony bloke still scares me quite a bit.
And I've been a good boy this time and included the links so you can purchase any of these fine tunes should you like them.
Enjoy!
And hopefully I'll have 9 & 10 up before too long and then I can make some new ones...
